Clews 'Chase After A Wolf' soup plate after Spode's Indian Sporting Series. Impressed mark c. 1820-5

Good condition. Small shallow chip to foot. Utensil marks to bowl.

Copeland 'Groom Leading Out' from Spode's Indian Sporting Series. Impressed date mark for 1911.

Dessert plate with 'The Landing of William of Orange' from the 'British History Series' by Jones and Son. The plate is 8.5 inches in diameter.

The short lived firm of Jones and Son potted around 1826-28 in Hanley, Staffordshire and this series is the only known pattern produced by them.

The plate is in excellent condition. There is no damage or restoration and only a couple of very minor utensil marks in the well. There are three manufacturing stilt marks in the border.
